THE SHORT VERSION:
Krista brings a rare combination of skills to Dynamic Physiotherapy—advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and IMS that makes her a natural fit for some of the most complex and challenging cases we see. With experience in multi-disciplinary settings alongside sports medicine physicians, she understands how to navigate complex cases and get results. Her approach? Empower patients with knowledge and an active recovery plan—so you leave every session more confident in your body than when you arrived.
WHAT KRISTA TREATS:
✓ Vestibular disorders (dizziness, vertigo, balance issues, BPPV)
✓ Concussion assessment, management, and return-to-sport
✓ Persistent and chronic pain conditions
✓ Workplace injuries and return-to-work rehabilitation (WCB)
✓ Musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain
✓ General physiotherapy and movement rehabilitation
KRISTA’S APPROACH:
Education first, always: Krista believes informed patients heal faster. She takes the time to help you understand what’s happening in your body—not just what to do about it—so you feel confident managing your recovery every step of the way. Active recovery, not passive treatment: Rather than doing everything for you, Krista builds active-based treatment programs that develop your strength, resilience, and independence. Hands-on techniques are part of the plan—but so is giving you the tools to succeed on your own. Complex cases welcome: With specialized training in vestibular rehab, concussion management, and persistent pain, Krista is comfortable working with conditions that other clinics often struggle to treat. If you’ve been told your symptoms are complicated—that’s exactly where she excels. What Krista loves most about treating concussion and vestibular patients is watching them return to everything they love about life—truly “living” again, rather than just surviving through their recovery.
KRISTA’S PHILOSOPHY:
“My goal is to give you the confidence and ability to successfully manage your own recovery—because real results happen when you understand your body and trust in your ability to heal.” Translation: Krista doesn’t want you dependent on treatment forever. She builds programs that make you stronger, more resilient, and more in control—so you can get back to living fully and stay there.
WHEN SHE’S NOT IN THE CLINIC:
When she’s not in the clinic Krista is likely outside at home caring for her pets and livestock (dogs, cats, donkeys and chickens), or competing with her husband to see who can mow more of their acreage. Born and raised in Calgary, Krista likes the friendly and community-first feel that Okotoks offers, and is looking forward to getting to know more of the local community.
